FAQ

Q) Is in-home care the right choice?
A) In-home care is the perfect choice for some one who wants to remain independent but has challenges of everyday activity of living. Companionship, safety supervision, meal preparation, medication reminders, our caregivers help with those things that encourage activity, provides safety, and brings joy.

Q) Who provides the care?
A) Kindness, commitment, consistency. These are the qualities we look for in our in-home caregiver. 7 Sisters conducts a criminal background screening as well as work history verification and checks with the misconduct registry on all employees. 7 sisters goes a step further and drug screens all personnel in direct care postitions even though drug screening is not required by the state of Texas. All employees are supervised and the care of each client is professionally monitored.

Q) Can I give the gift of quality life?
A) Yes you can. Whether for yourself or a loved one, joy, independence, comfort, and security are within your reach. 7 Sisters has affordable, in-home care solutions that do not require a long-term contract. We offer flexible care schedules. Our clients have the freedom to decide how much and what type of care they need.

Q) Who is responsible to pay the caregivers?
A) Caregivers are employees of 7 Sisters. We bill you, the client, twice a month. The agency is responsible for all taxes and employee wages.

Q) Are your employees bonded?
A) Everyone within our agency is bonded.

Q) Are you a hospice or home health agency?
A) We are licensed as a personal assistance agency. Our services are intended to compliment those agency services. We provide 24-hour caregivers in the client's home, which enables you to live at home rather than a nursing home.

Q) How much notice do you require?
A) In order to determine which services you require and enable us to place a suitable caregiver, 7 Sisters requests 72 hours notice. We attempt to staff immediately whenever possible.

Q) What if I am dissatisfied with personnel you select for my home?
A) In the initial assessment, we gather as much information about you, your likes, your dislikes, and your personal assistant needs to enable us to select the right person for the right job. However, if you are unhappy with the caregiver for any reason, we will replace that person as quickly as possible.

Q) How do I get started?
A) Call us today or email us. A local representative will arrange a consultation with you or your family to formulate a personal care plan. Let 7 Sisters help. Let us bring the joys and meaning back into life through in-home care done our special way.
