Answer Before placing a caregiver in the home, Seven Sisters does a thorough background screening through a secure site provided by DADS as well as other sources such as Kroll Background screening, in addition we verify work history, and inquire through the Nurse aide or Misconduct Registry.

Question Are the personal caregivers considered contract labor?
Answer The caregivers are employees of Seven Sisters. If for no other reason, we refuse to use contract labor in order to maintain a level of professionalism within our staff. We also pay all state and federal employment taxes.

Question How much notice is required to set up care?
Answer We appreciate a 72-hour notice. However, we can and many times react within hours of being contacted.

Answer We compliment what each of those types of companies do, by providing services they do not, such as routine assistance with activities of daily living such as routine ongoing assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, exercising, toileting, positioning, ambulations and transfer, routine hair and skin care, meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping. PAS providers can provide some necessary health related tasks that may be delegated by a Registered nurse, or tasks a Doctor, or RN deem do not require delegation. And you live in your own home.

Answer Ms. Norris, our President and CEO, like her mother was actually one of seven sisters.
